Military Leave

The University will grant military leave in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. An employee who is a member of a reserve component of the armed forces of the United States shall be granted leave of absence during the time of their annual tour of duty as a member of such reserve component (maximum two weeks). In such a case, the employee shall receive the difference between their regular daily pay and remuneration received for military training during the same period. The employee is required to submit certification and remittance of their military pay voucher before obtaining the adjusted salary. During periods of military leave due to a National emergency, affected employees should contact the Human Resources Department with questions regarding benefits coverage.
